Scottish Diocese

There are eight dioceses in Scotland. The eight Bishops (and those equivalent to them in law) constitute The Bishop’s Conference of Scotland and they meet regularly to organise nationwide initiatives through various Commissions and Agencies.

The links for diocesan websites can be found below. Where available, links to Facebook pages can also be found.

Each of the Bishops is involved in various Commissions and Agencies. Bishop John Keenan is in charge of the Department of Ordained Ministry and Consecrated Life, which includes responsibility for seminaries and Priests for Scotland, which is responsible for fostering vocations to the Priesthood in Scotland.
